Eyeglasses for needy, Student Scholarships, Civil Air Patrol, Prescott Valley Nutrition Program, Leader Dogs, Camp Tatiyee Administrative Fund, Camp Tatiyee Land Campaign,
Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation, Lions Foundation of Arizona, Melvin Jones International Memorial, Neighbor to Neighbor, Dress a Child, and much more. We thank those in the community who have saved and brought their newspapers to the recycling bins. Without you none of this could have been possible.
Our newest project has been to purchase an Automated External Defibrillerator (AED). This is going to be placed in the Prescott Valley Library. Arrangements are being made with Fire Chief, Dave Curtis, Central Yavapai Fire District and his personnel to furnish CPR training to Town employees along with training in the use of the AED. We believe this is the first unit of this type to be in operation in Prescott valley. It is our desire to educate the business owners and operators of the need for the AEDs in their operations. It is imperative that a heart attack patient be treated within the first 4 minutes of an attack. If one life can be saved it will be worth any cost.
